I could be wrong but I believed that all vehicles required a driver side mirror, by law, and the passenger side mirror was an option. I used to own a 66 mustang that hade a driver side mirror and went to the dealer and brought the passenger side mirror for safety.. My coupe is a 200CID, C4 autmatic, and came with the "Sprint 200" package. Mine came with the optional passenger mirror. Do you know if the door was ever replaced?
