I have used Jasper motors for engines that I need. They are really good and they do transmissions too.  I would also shop Sacramento Mustang too they have brand new 5.0 engines at a nice price. Just my two cents, I would also try modern driveline.

I always use mustangsunlimited. com its got about all the parts you'll everneed and they sell ford racing brand also various aftermarket engine stuff

I have been looking through a "year one" catalog looking for engines, tranny's, and all around parts, but their prices are STEEP! Does anyone know of any companies that are more reasonable? I have a 67 mustang and I'm looking for a 302 or a 351c and throw on a manual tranny.
