is duramix the same stuff that is used to adhere bedsides on with ,,, that is what I am really askin about ,,,,I know about butyl and caulk,,,, and the reason for not wanting to use body filler or fiberglass had nothing to do with my expertise in using it or lack there of ...if I wanted to mold them in with bondo or glass,, ,I would have already done that.... I am just asking about adhering them to the car ... the reason I am replacing is the stand alone stud and screws the originals were attached with are not very secure and that is why the originals are broken.......
