RE: [Classic Mustang] 1967 Mustang radiator

I used the BB 4 row in my 67 289 fb.  As I recall it was 24” wide.  You need to use the upper & lower cradle mounts with the rubber insulators.  When I did mine (1995), the upper cradle mount was readily available thru Mustang parts houses.  The lower ones, however were not.  They may be now-I have not looked.  I fabricated my own lower cradle mounts.  They bolt to the inboard side of the strut arm supports.

Depending on your driving-traffic, if you have ac, etc., I would use the 4 row.

Subject: [Classic Mustang] 1967 Mustang radiator

Hello,

I have a 1967 mustang with a 289 and the stock 16 x 19.5" radiator. It's leaking, and a friend suggested I install the high capacity version for big blocks or A/C cars. Is this a direct bolt in part? I heard that the big block radiators mounts are different.

Thanks in advance,

Chris
