[Classic Mustang] Interior Paint Clear Coat

Doing some freshening up of some of the interior painted surfaces on my '71
Mach, 'cause of a couple of important Mustang shows coming up. What I'm
finding is that my biggest problem is the top metal pieces on the doors,
where you rest your elbow out the window while driving. This tends to wear
off the paint (it's the second time in 3 years I've had to repaint them).
Does anybody know of a spray-can clearcoat I could put on these specific
pieces to help mitigate the rubbing issue and thereby protect the paint?
