RE: [Classic Mustang] Manifold removal?

Spray the bolts with some good penetrating oil first(I like PB Blaster but WD 40 will work) & let soak for a day or so.  Remove at warm or cold engine block temps.  Wire brush the bolts threads & you may wish to use some anti sieze on the threads prior to reinstallation.

Subject: [Classic Mustang] Manifold removal?

Been thinking of removing my exhaust manifolds so I can put on a coat of high temp cast gray and get rid of the ugly "burnt rust under the hood" look (lol).
Should I try to take em off cold, or warm up the engine first?
And if warm, drive it around and get gloves warm, or just a bit of idle warm?
And can the bolts be reused or do I need a new set?
289 V8 on a 64.5 if that matters.
Thanks!
