Subject: [Classic Mustang] turn signals
I have a 68 mustang. The turn signal lights all work. Problem is the cancellation process. When turning to the right and completing the turn the signal goes pass the neutral position and the left signal comes on. When turning left the cancellation doesn't work and the left blinker stays on. I can manually turn the switch back to the neutral position and the lights go off but it is very touchy. I have replaced the cam on the turn signal switch and the cam on the steering column. All functions associated with the switch (horn, emergency light, turn signal lights) all work fine. Any thoughts. This is a tilt steering wheel car.
