Does anyone out there know the length of the stock trunk prop rod used on the 1969 and 1970 fastbacks? I have a 1970 Mach 1 which came with no prop rod, but had one at one time because it has the holes on the underside of the deck lid and in the rear end-cap, as weel as the clip that held it in place when closed. I purchased an aftermarket replacement rod, but it does not seem to line up to the existing holes. The one I bought measures about 23.5" stem to stern. Anyone out there have one they could measure, or a graphic of where the mounting holes are supposed to be if that length is indeed stock?
