RPM, you are only going to pull 552 CFM [(347cu.in./2)/1728 * 5,500 RPM
= 552.228 flow in CFM]. Unless you are taking this on the strip and
intend to blueprint and balance it, I wouldn't even think about going
beyond that for a red line.
A 600 CFM is more than enough carburetor. Most people make the mistake
of over doing it... and then they wonder why it won't run right through
all ranges in the street, or fails to idle well, or sucks gas like
there's no tomorrow. A simple Holley LIST-1850 600 CFM w/ vacuum
secondaries is more than enough - and my personal experience is that it
will likely work better right out of the box without any additional
tuning (than the 4100 or 4300).
