Sounds like a VERY nice project!!! Plenty of expertise (and opinions ;-) ) here. Feel free to ask any questions. There is always someone willing to help!

Hello-We purchased a 68 coupe at Thanksgiving. This is kind of a return to youth kind of thing as my husband had mustangs when he was 16 and didn't have the funds to fix the major stuff. So, back then he had a 68 fastback GT with the deluxe interior, which he had to sell due to frame rot, and then he got a 68 coupe... both of course which had to be red. Anyway, the coupe got traded off for a reliable form of transportation to go to college...Many years down the road, here we are with our 68. We looked until we found a car that was rock solid- not a speck of rust. It needs and interior and it needs paint, but we have the foundation to build upon.We are talking to body shops about paint- we will be taking the car back to the original presidential blue, and are gathering the pieces for a 347 stroker, bit by bit.We thought this might be a group to join to get insight and resources while we do our project, and a little vicarious living seeing what other folks have done!Leanne & SteveIowa
