Absolutely the fuse clips are notorious bad or have an intermittent connection The radio and console lights are another clue perhaps Check their grounding as well Good hunting

According to the wiring diagram that I have, the turn signals and backup lamps are both fed from the same fuse, different branches. So not sure that it is a turn signal switch issue. Also, there are two other wires that also branch out to other areas, not labeled. Could be to the radio and console lights. It appears that the console lights are on the same branch as all other interior lights. When you checked voltage at the fuse, did you check the fuse or the fuse clips? I have seen where the fuse clips do not make a proper connection. Mahalo!! Jim Ohrt ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Monday, March 02, 2009 6:50 PM Subject: Re: [Classic Mustang] Light trouble
Joe, I mentioned in an earlier post a lot of stuff goes through the turn signal switch. The horn may get it's power from the headlight switch as it uses the circuit breaker in the switch for protection but the brake lights and turn signal should get the power from another source. See if you can find where power for the turn signals is supposed to enter the switch. I'm only guessing but your problem could be a bad turn signal switch. Check to make sure the brake lights are working as they also run through the switch. As I mentioned before I do not have a diagram handy so I'm throwing out guesses. If you have 12 volts coming in for the horn, and another 12 volts coming in for the switch, and only the horn (or nothing) is working, you may have a bad switch.
