[Classic Mustang] 67-68 fastback inside rear vent removal

I am disassembling the interior of my 68 fastback and removed the rear sail panels with the vents. I was surprised to find out that the vent trim is riveted to the fiberglass sail panel. These need to be redone or replaced. Anyone know what the procedure is to remove and remount them? I can't find any information on taking it apart and the Earl Davis restoration guide shows the sail panel as one piece. Suggestions????

Thanks.
