It's a middle of the road shock but better than OEM. I bought them at
Laurel Mountain Mustang. Takes about a week to ship by UPS ground. If
you have not used these guys...they are simply the best. They are
always friendly and answer all questions with correct technical advice
since they restore as well. I bought my interior kit, bumpers, emblems,
etc. from them. Their prices are the best as well. They will price
match on some items if you have a large order if you find the item
cheaper elsewhere.
They did not have shocks for my 1957 Thunderbird which also needed some
TLC. I went with KYB GR 2 as well for the bird. I puchased them through
Summit Racing. A few other companies carried KYB's...no one was cheaper
than Laurel or Summit. I would recommend them to all group members.
