[Classic Mustang] Re: 302 over heating problem

When it's running, do you see white steam coming from the exhaust
pipe? You changed the head gaskets, but coolant still might be getting
into the cylinders.
Again when it's hot, pull the dipstick and put a drop of oil on the
exhaust manifold. It should just smoke as the heat evaporates the
oil. If it sizzles, there's water in the oil.
Beg or borrow a pump that attached to the radiator filler neck and pump
the cooling system up to 15lbs. If the cooling system is good, the
pressure should stay at 15lbs for hours.
And lastly, change the water pump!
