[Classic Mustang] I have an alternator problem

I have a 73 mustang convertible, the alternator light came on dim a
month ago, so I had it checked, ended up replacing the battery,
alternator and voltage regulator with all new parts, still the
alternator light is visible, but still dim. We checked the output and
it's fine COMING from the alternator, but when checked at how much it
was charging, it was only 12 volts... is there anyone out there that
has any clue as to what I should do next?? I miss driving her
