There is a mustang salvage yard in Oklahoma.. Oklahoma Mustang Parts?? They have a web presence. CJ Pony Parts in Pa also has salvage parts, although when I needed a 65-66 lower steering column bracket, they only way they would sell me one is if they stripped it and primed it for $25....
I believe that Mustangs Plus in Sacramento Ca has a yard, don't know if they sell that kind of sheet metal. I'm sure there are others.
Seems a lot of prices at BJ's were down. A GM/Buick one-off show car went for $400k, a very very nice grabber blue 70 boss nine went for $190k.
From what little I saw, the crowd seemed thin, and the auctioneers were working hard to get the bidding going anywhere. Stopping the bidding to remind the crowd that this or that vehicle was way under the money was common... Craig looked rather sour most of the time.

Subject: [Classic Mustang] Re:71 mustang Mach1 seat platforms
To my knowledge, the only seat riser available is from a used 71-73. I'm not aware that another one will fit as the Gen 3 Mustangs were wider. A 71-73 Cougar could also make a good donor car.
I remember a recent post that there's a place in Colorado (?) that has used Mustang parts. Anyone in the group aware of Mustang salvage yards that might have the seat risers????
BTW...The steal of the deal at Barrett-Jackson this past week was a 71 Boss 351 that went for $44K INCLUDING buyer's 10% premium!
