Re: [Classic Mustang] Re: Vote-Best Mustang Catalog.

I live in San Antonio and I bought a fender from John's Mustang while I was in Houston.  They took a long time to get to me and when I got the fender home, I found out that it it was a return that some one else had primered one side of.  I was very unimpressed.  I have also got parts online from Laurel Mountain, CJ Pony Parts, and a couple of other places from Ebay.  I think one was called Virginia Mustang.

One of the doors I got from CJ Pony parts had a weak texture in the inside.  When I called, they didn't question it at all and offered either a discount or an exchange.
I have been happy with all of the purchases I have made except for the one from John's.  I have bought a lot of parts off Ebay from the different places.  A lot of the parts can be had on there at a lower price than the catalog.  That works out OK as long as the shipping doesn't eat you alive.

I have ordered from both CJPonyparts and MustangsUnlimited and had no
problem with either. However, living in the Houston area, John's
Mustang is much more convenient for me. I can call them, tell them
what I need and they'll usually have it ready for me to pick up within
an hour. Came in especially handy when I needed the hood, quarters,
door, etc. for my recent rebuild.
