[Classic Mustang] New member intro

Hi everyone, Jack here... Louisville, KY. I have a 64 1/2 Coupe with
170 I.L. six, 3-speed on the floor, it is a generator car. Found this
in Guy's garage here in Louisville. It had not seen daylight sonce
1980. Other than a slight door crunch and bump on driver fender..
nothing wrong, everything bone stock never been touched. Was Ziebart
undercoated at time of new sale. Bought it for 1,200 bucks with a
promise to leave it in factory condition and not restomod the car. Not
a problem the car is in such great shape...it would be a sin to do
anything but put it back in "bought new" condition.
I am a Ford Nut and have owned various year Ranchero's (6 in last 8
years) down to one now, a 68 Ranchero GT with factory in dash A/C. 302
A/T, P/S, PB.
I do need a little help in finding good parts to rebuild the 3-speed
manual transmission, and I suppose any linckage bushings. Anyone here
with a similiar year car that has done this. This is my first Mustang.
I am 55, and just retired on Jan 2nd! Whew.. now to finish the Mustang
and Ranchero.
Thanks Jack
