bumper with a urethane bumper. All 71 Machs had a urethane bumper, so far
as I know. The regular Boss, sportsroof, convertible and coupe generally
had chrome bumpers, but late in '71 Ford made a "Sports Hardtop" package
available on the couple that also gave it a urethane bumper (along with a
couple other things like Boss stripes, a NACA hood, Mach 1 grille,
etc). The '73 Mach had to conform to new fed requirements and so had a
bumper that was a bit different than the 71/72 bumper.
