When I had my 68 stripped down and prainted they rolled the paint to the inside like I asked. The color was Viper Blue. After reassembly, the Viper Blue clashed with the rest of the interior. I got up the nevre to sand it and repaint it. To do the doors I bought a cheap car cover from wal mart for $25, I took the car cover and with the doors open covered as much of the car as it would allow me taping it off. I had to cut the cover to ensure that it would go around the doors when they were open. This way I avioded the over spray on my new paint job. Instead of masking the windows, I removed them for the paint, and then masked around the outside of the doors. The paint that I used was the one for the mustang parts houses. It was a little pricey at $11 a can, but I wanted to make sure that the paint matched the interior, as I did not want to have to do it agian. Took about two days to get a good finish on the doors with color sanding and all. But it was well worth it.

Actually I did one that way. The exterior was a multi-stage red/gold
powder/clear and the interior metal and plastic was single stage black.
I did the jams black and they just became visually part of the
interior rather than the outside. I may very well have done it to avoid
the extra work on the jams, but I liked the result.
