The interior is small pieces. They are much easier to paint than the
body. You should be able to remove everything you want to paint. I
assume you are including the doors. I don't know if you are including
door jams. They can go with the interior or body. If you try to paint
anything in-place there will be edges you cannot get at and over spray
will be a issue.
I assume you are doing single stage. If you completely screw it up,
sand or strip it and do it again. In any event, put on enough to color
sand.
Harbor Freight has paint guns that are quite usable, and when on-sale
are very cheap.
