Well, since you posed the question, here's a "thought or two from me on that subject" (see my attachment).  It's a brief story of my Clevor project. For anyone seeking another slant on the Clevor, pick up a copy of the September '08 Car Craft.  It's one of Ford's better kept open secrets.  Read, then judge for yourself. Like the fellow says, it depends on what you're plans for the car are.  Definitely not a "purist" approach, but then, they've been hot rodding Fords since the Model T, so it seems that comes with the territory.
