My book says that Twilight Turquoise (paint code 5) was only a 1964 1/2 color so there would be no fastbacks that'd be that color because the fastback was built starting in the 1965 model year.
Tropical turquoise (paint code O), if that is the color you are talking about, was a 1965 color only and since Ford tossed all of the data for the 1964 1/2 to 1966 cars I don't think there'd be any way to establish a percentage of cars painted that color. But in Tony Gregory's book "The 289 High Performance Mustang" he has broken down the 1965 - 1966 cars that have been listed in his HiPo registry. Tropical Turquoise wound up with only 0.97 percent of the HiPo cars.
His book claims that the most popular colors were: Wimbleton White, Ivy Green, Candyapple Red, Poppy Red and Vintage Burgundy.
Maybe you can figure that 1 or 2 percent of the total 1965 cars were that color from his registry.
That's the best I can do.
