Re: [Classic Mustang] fiberglass hood

I agree with Simon.

When I painted the fiberglass rear deck lid on my '68, I went with the
body color. I gave some thought to in-fill painting the sections
between the braces. First I painted both sides. Then I taped off the
braces and used black enamel there with a small amount of flattening
agent, so to not appear shiny. It looks great - If you decide to do
something with the bottom side, take your time and detail it the way you
would the top.

Don't try and use something other than paint - it won't hold up.
