Re: [Classic Mustang] fiberglass hood

I'm not familiar with Evercoat, but I do know many of the undercoating products are oil based and don't handle heat well...
I've even seen spray in bedliner products that will melt under high heat conditions.  Makes a REAL mess....

Subject: [Classic Mustang] fiberglass hood

I am preping a fiberglass hood for my 65. I was thinking of spraying
evercoat rubberized undercoating on the bottom of the hood. I am
concerned about the temp rating of the product. The instructions do
not mention the temp rating nor does it say to use in engine
compartment. Has anybody done this or have any knowledge on this?
