Joe;
One item that may be of help is the "gearwrench". It has a standard opening on one end and the other "combo" end contains a miniature ratchet mechanism. Great for hard to reach areas. And, there is no really easy way that I am aware of to get to the trim.

I am removing the dash panel trim. I have taken out the glove box and radio. The car is a 68 coupe. The pieces are held on by hex nuts. Problem is getting the hex nuts off. My ratchet doesn't have sufficient room and I cannot see very well without standing on my head. I have removed the right hand piece but was hard. Are there any easy ways to remove the hex nuts or special tools that would help.Any suggestions appreciated.joe
