Re: [Classic Mustang] Dash Trim Panel Removal

Joe;

One item that may be of help is the "gearwrench".  It has a standard opening on one end and the other "combo" end contains a miniature ratchet mechanism.  Great for hard to reach areas.  And, there is no really easy way that I am aware of to get to the trim.

Subject: [Classic Mustang] Dash Trim Panel Removal

I am removing the dash panel trim.  I have taken out the glove box and radio.  The car is a 68 coupe.  The pieces are held on by hex nuts.  Problem is getting the hex nuts off.  My ratchet doesn't have sufficient room and I cannot see very well without standing on my head.  I have removed the right hand piece but was hard.  Are there any easy ways to remove the hex nuts or special tools that would help.
Any suggestions appreciated.
