Re: [Classic Mustang] 64.5 260

The 221 and early 260/289s had the fill tube on the timing chain cover rather than in the valve cover. These engines used a road draft tube rather than PCV valves this was done through 1963.  According to Bob Mannel's Mustang and Ford Small Block V-8 Ford reverted back to the road draft tubes briefly in 1964 these ware mainly late May-June '64 cars. The Valve covers had no holes for oil filler or PCV valves.
