My '66 six cylinder coil springs needed replacing so I went with the
concours front springs that lowered the front end 1 inch and added the
rubber insulators. I replaced the rear leaf springs with the original
type.
The mods that made the most noticeable difference in handling was
replacing the original 5/8 ? inch thin front sway bar with the real
thick over an inch thick front sway bar and also the (name?) solid
steel piece that connects to each shock tower and to the firewall.
Now instead of leaning when I make turns, it corners flat. A very
noticeable and ride enhancing change.
