Hi everyone.

I am a new member in Georgia and would like to introduce myself.  My name is Mary Ann and I am the owner of a '65 Mustang that has been a daily driver for 20 years now.  It was the first car I ever bought and has always been my favorite even though I've had others.  It looks a little rough right now, because I let it set due to a transmission needing rebuilt.  I couldn't find a rebuild kit for a manual 4 speed.  Of course when I stuck a used 3 speed in it, I found the kit.  Earlier this year I had some wires melt under the dash.  When I started trying to repair it, I gave up because the wires have gotten so old and brittle.  To make a long story short, yesterday I installed the last wiring harness (headlights) and have it all replaced now!  I had forgotten how much I enjoyed working on it.  I have a few more things I want to replace before trying to get it painted again.  Of course money slows these things down.

Early model '65 with some '64 ½ parts (door handles, etc.)

Light Blue 2 door coupe w/ blue interior

289 from a '66 (couldn't find the code on the engine, but my Daddy says it runs too strong to not be a HP)

Had a 4 speed top loader and rear end from a 302 Boss (man kept the engine and sold it with a 351 Windsor )

Anyway, I am sure a lot of you have Mustangs much nicer than mine.  I wouldn't trade mine for anything though.  We have 20 years of history together and hopefully many more.  I'm looking forward to meeting everyone.
