If the car was restored, I would recommend gathering all of the bills you have and hire a qualified Antique/Collector car appraiser. Check with the Certified Appraiser Guild of America for someone in your area. There are also Appraisers listed in Hemmings. As a back up, you may want to contact Estate or Divorce attorneys in your area. I practice in these areas and have used appraisers in some of my cases.
