Re: [Classic Mustang] squeaks

How about the upper control arms needing a zerk fitting at each end. All of the Mustangs, Mavericks etc. of that era developed squeaks that were cured by a shot of grease. The threaded hole is usually there - you just need to fish a 90 degree zerk fitting into it.
 
Many times you'll find a hole cut into the engine wall for this grease fitting.
