I have State Farm and i had to get an agreed upon app. and was told to keep ALL receipts because it can even go over the agreed upon app. if you can prove how much you have in the car , also , you dont allways have to take what the ins. comp. offers you , there are other actions to take . I havent had any issues to turn in yet but some others on other chat groups i m on have had very good results with State Farm.

Guys, don't wait until the time you need it.  Make sure you're insured with Hagerty Classic and have a current appraisal done. (AND keep it current every couple of years.)
 
 
Can't agree more. I appraise wrecked cars giving the insurance company a pre-accident appraisal but it is a LOT more accurate and easier to get the correct value for your car if you have an agreed-on price for the car. It saves a TON of hassle and grief.
 
And I agree with Hagerty - after the accident with the Corvette, they paid for all repairs without a whimper.
