I was hoping that I cuold first get the fluid to at least start to clear up but looks like I may need to start using the chemical. Thank You.

Rodney, did you use radiator flush?  It's avail in most auto stores.  Follow the directions, and that will do a good job.  If you have severe rust, you may have to repeat that.

Subject: [Classic Mustang] Radiator flushing

Thanks to all who helped me route my heater hoses. Now that thats done
the radiator will not flush clear. I have drained and refilled it 5
times with good warm-ups between draining. My procedure is to fill cool
radiator with water, run to get hot and t-stat opens, cool down, drain
and repeat. Is there a step I'm missing or are the water jackets that
dirty. The water drains a mirky dirty brown color. Any thoughts?
