Re: [Classic Mustang] Heater

I ordered my parts from CJ Pony Parts for my 65.   The plenum, the hoses, other various components until I got mine working.  Finally figured it out after replacing everything, my core problem was the previous owner had reversed the heater core and flow seems to be seriously restricted that way.   But all the parts fit and worked fine and as Bill said, the parts needed replaced anyway.  As I was replacing the dash pad, I found the defroster hoses had experienced 40 odd years of aging and crumbled.

On my 1966 I replaced the paper plenum with a new plastic one, heater core, hoses and took a good look at the cowl intakes - they were bad too.
