Have you thought about adding AC.

I don't have any experience in this so I mght be 100% wrong but

I thought at least one of the top aftermarket AC system replaced the current heater assembly.

Just a thought.

My '67 heater has had it, case cracked and core leaking, so need to
find a complete heater. Some of the catalogs are a bit confusing as to
what you get with an order. So anyone purchased a heater lately and
from where? The new firewall pad is in place as is repair to the floor
including sound proofing and carpet, project now on hold. Thanks, Kaz
