This can be a problem with older fuel cells and modern fuels causing
the foam to dissolve and make a mess. Fuel Safe years ago put out a
recommendation to drain their cells if the car was stored for the
winter. That's what I've been doing since installing my custom
fuel cell in the '67 race car
