Ford's marketing for the early Mustang was "build yourself a Mustang".
The only thing the basic car had, that was not required by law, and at
that time was often an option, was the heater. There was then a huge
catalog of options. That is why it is hard to find two identical early
Mustangs. And, in 1964 there was no such thing as a 64 1/2 Mustang.
And according to the lists that claim to define the differences I
apparently have a 64 3/4, because it has stuff from both the "64.5" and
65 lists.
