[Classic Mustang] Re: Parking brake handle

The punch and hammer will work. Be sure and back up the side you are
driving toward, use something like a second hammer. It does sort of
require three hands...hold the punch, hold the hammer and the back up.
If you slip and break the old handle, it can just make the job easier.
When installing the new handle, I suggest pressing the pin in with
a "C" clamp or channel lock type pliers. Be sure and use something
between the tool and the plastic handle to protect it from tool marks.
