[Classic Mustang] 1968 Mustang Gas tank reinforcement

I was just in an rear end accident, where the gas tank ruptured on my
68 fastback. The tank was full and leaked out all over my driveway, (I
was hit turning into my garage). The car is being repared and I'm
wondering if reinforcing the trunk floor is worth it? I've looked into
tankarmor.com but its $198.00 plus shipping for the product. Any
opinions about this?
