[Classic Mustang] Re: Heater hoses

Hi Rod -

This may sound simple to some but understanding the direction of
coolant flow in your 289/AT car may be helpful.

1) One heater hose routes from the heater core outlet (top heater
core
connection) through the bracket on your carburetor choke housing to
the
heater hose inlet on the waterpump.
2) The other heater hose routes from the heater core intlet (bottom
heater core connection) to the heater hose outlet on the intake
manifold.
3) The upper radiator hose carries coolant from the thermostat
housing
to the radiator.
4) The bottom radiator hose carries coolant from the radiator to the
radiator hose inlet on the waterpump.
